What has shaped your views on cannabis?
Having grown up in an environment that encouraged open conversations and self-education about cannabis, I’ve become a lifelong advocate for the plant. I found myself diving into the science behind the endocannabinoid system, which shifted my view from “adult-use vs. medical” to “intentional use.”
How did you get your start in cannabis?
I joined the medical cannabis industry during the pandemic, counseling patients. From there, I gradually moved through roles and led my team through Adult Use expansion in 2022.
How has your medical cannabis background influenced your role?
I’m grateful for starting my career in this industry under the guidance of pharmacists who emphasized patient care and science above all. These principles have deeply influenced my approach. Today, I continue to lead with these values, focusing on listening, educating, recommending, and helping, regardless of the consumer in front of me.

Can you expand on 1:1 support?
Every member of our team is here to guide each person who steps through our doors.
Our goal is not to decrease transaction times or to be salespeople. We start each transaction by asking the customer if they know what they are looking for and for each person that does not…we guide from there.
We want to make those connections and ensure that every person leaving our store has a comfortable experience and is completely satisfied.
What advice do you have for women entering the cannabis industry?
The cannabis space is unlike any other industry I have been in. It is for those who love it. It is ever-changing, complicated and beautiful. Self-educate, make your case and stand your ground. It is continuously growing and there is always room for more women-owned and operated businesses.
If you were to develop a cannabis strain that reflects your personality, what would you name it and what kind of experience would it offer?
Wow! I would name it Juicy Drop (this is courtesy of my cat) and the experience would be a lightly stimulating, social strain. Best for hiking on a sunny day.
How do you see the future of cannabis evolving in NJ, and what role does Pure Blossom play in that vision?
We’ve seen an influx of smaller retailers enter the cannabis space over the course of the past year, which is incredible and this upcoming year is going to be huge from a cultivation and manufacturing standpoint. Our goal in-store is not only to stock our shelves with a diverse, quality assortment for our customers, but sourced from local and small businesses.
