Just a 10-minute drive away, this family-owned gem is powered by a small-but-mighty team of five. We caught up with co-owner and Ewing native Sammy Piazza, who shared his passion for growing the best NJ weed and crafting only solventless concentrates. “We’re a very small team do things our way—the right way.”
Small-Batched, Locally Grown
Sammy built this family-run facility right in his hometown. “I was born here. I grew up here. I went to every grade of school right in the same town.” With over 20 years of experience in NJ and RI’s medical markets between the team, they keep it small with just two grow rooms. They grow their plants in soil (not rock wool or cocoa), using only organic nutrients for peak flavor. They even holds NJ’s only on-site tissue culture lab, a setup that guarantees their genetics stay virus-free and clean.
“There’s no smoke and mirrors here,” Sammy says. “What you see is what you get, which is why we invite people to tour the facility and get the full picture.”
It’s All In-House
“We’re one of the only place in New Jersey that is single source.” Everything they grow and make comes straight from their grow. No bulk buys, no outsourcing—just pure, homegrown quality from start to finish.
Even their genetics are home-sourced, thanks to co-owner Andre Plümacher’s award-winning Garden State Genetics: Peach Milano and Gorilla Butter.
Solventless is the Way
For FullTilt, there’s no debate—solventless is “the purest form of the plant…and that’s the only way to do it.” With most of the team being concentrate fans, getting it right was a must.
FullTilt’s process, on the other hand, is as simple and clean as it gets. They take fresh flower, freeze it, run it through a stainless steel washing machine with cold water, freeze-dry, press and voilà—beautiful, clean rosin. No solvents….
Not Everywhere
FullTilt isn’t about crowding shelves; they’re about quality partnerships. Finding the right dispensaries starts with a real conversation. Sammy explains, “We’re not like the other brands to where we need to be on every shelf. You know, we have 40 to 45 great partnerships with dispensaries that are able to handle what we what we produce here.”
“I want to develop a partnership with these dispensaries to where they’re actually able to offer something different…And if people want our product, they have to seek out the certain dispensaries that do carry it.”
Small by Choice
“There’s a reason why our prices are premium compared to other people, because we don’t grow that much. And what we do grow, we touch and feel every single day.”
While they may add a flower room or two, they’re not looking to grow too big, too fast.
”We don’t want to bite off more than we can chew. The more you do, the more that the quality is going to end up going down.”
